2014 diy gift guide

Hello! Happy Monday 🙂
How are you guys? I’m feeling happy and snuggly (that’s a thing, right?) after an amazing birthday yesterday, which I may try to recap later this week. For now, however, I want to roll out my 2014 DIY Gift Guide! I love making and receiving home-made gifts, and always struggle with ideas for what my friends and family would actually LIKE and USE (no one wants a sock monkey. No one.). Thus, I have scoured the internets far and wide and rounded up a list of some of the easiest, cutest, and most personalized gifts for your friends and family this year.
Read below to find the perfect gift!

For the minimalist:

{diy marble clock via Brit+Co}

Elegant, chic, and simple. Not for those who have trouble telling time.

For the homebody:

{storage jars via Simply Earnest}

Totally customizable and totally adorable!

For your bestie:

{leather embossed key chains via Polka Dot Chair}

Something he or she can use everyday that makes them think of you.

For your sister:

{dearbobby pins via Kitten Hood}
Individual, cute, and fun – just like her!

For mom:

{peppermint bath bombs, via A Pumpkin and a Princess}
She does so much for you all year – why not treat her with a luxurious spa treatment? Bonus: she will smell like peppermint all day afterwards 🙂
{candy sign via Paint the Gown Red}
Modern and simple, this will upgrade any graduates’ first apartment.
For yourself:
{diy eye mask via A Beautiful Mess}

Don’t forget about yourself! These would also make super cute stocking stuffers.

For your boyfriend:

{wood print via E-How}

Document your favorite photo of him forever on a custom wood print.

For your guy friend:

{plastic dinosaur phone stand via Eat Sleep Make}

The perfect gift for the friend who is addicted to their phone.

For your nephews/nieces:

{play tent via Nalles House}

Win the ‘best aunt/uncle’ award with a super easy and completely adorable play tent. Sleepover time!!

For your boss:

{watercolor mugs via Poppy Talk}
Show them your creative side with a new vehicle for their daily caffeine intake.
For the artist:
{diy pencil case via My Poppet}
If they’re like most artists I know, they are slightly disorganized and will greatly appreciate this gift.
For the commuter:
{hand-warmers via Rae Ann Kelly}
Make sure her hands are warm all winter long – it will be much appreciated.

So there you have it. Hopefully your head is buzzing with ideas now, and make sure to see the original guide for more ideas. Let me know if you decide to make any of these, ok? I want to see!
