I apologize for the lack of posting on here as of late. This won’t be a long post, but I just wanted to pop in and let you know why I’ve been away.

I’m sad to report that our fur baby has not been doing too well these past few weeks/months. We first noticed Tobes’ limping about two months ago. He didn’t seem to be in great pain, but was not putting much weight on his back leg. After consulting with our vet, we scheduled a TPLO surgery to aid what seemed to be a ACL tear or something similar.

Unfortunately, his limping has turned out to be due to a cancerous mass on Tobias’ hind leg. We are still in the process of diagnosing what he has, exactly, how far it has spread, and what the next steps are so we don’t have any concrete information to share, but needless to say, this has been a really hard time for us. Tobias, of course, has been a smiling, happy pup throughout the whole process ☺.

Tobias is our best friend, our baby, and our biggest source of joy after a long day at work. Please keep him in your thoughts for the next couple weeks as we try to find the best solution to ease his suffering.
