Hello friends! Conrad and I are currently en route to San Francisco, so I’ve set up an automated #fridayfavorites for you. I’ll be there all next week for a web design conference. This weekend marks our dating anniversary, so I’m bringing the old ball and chain with me for a few days! I’ve never been to SF, so I put together a three-page list of food/activity recommendations (over-planner much?). I can’t wait!!! Keep reading for this […]

Last weekend was a fun, busy blur!  After a great Saturday night with our friends, we took things pretty easy on Sunday with a short hike, lunch out, and toddler Trick or Treating at the Farm. Mister Max was a chubby tiger, and I couldn’t help but take, oh, I don’t know, a MILLION photos.  To give Adrienne a little break, Conrad showed Max the “gows” while we waited in line. My favorite boys! An […]

Happy hump-day! After a full three weeks, fall is nearly over (yay for Colorado extremes! NOT). As such, I have been embracing autumn clothing like it’s nobody’s business. Sweaters, scarves, crisp button-downs, boots, you name it, I’ve worn it. A few weekends ago, I quickly put this casual look together for a weekend outing and since I remembered to get some photos of it, you get to see it today in a quick little outfit […]

Hello and happy Friday! After a productive week, I’m ready for some fun this weekend! We’re hosting our annual pumpkin carving party tomorrow evening and I am so excited to get ready for Halloween. Funnily enough, we won’t actually be here for Halloween (I have a conference in San Francisco that week), but the fall season is so short in Colorado so I’ve got to soak up as much as I can! Keep reading for […]

Hello! Last weekend, I went on something of a cleaning kick. They don’t happen often, but when they do, I go all out. When I was done, the house looked so beautiful that I wanted to document it to give you a little tour of where we call home (and to remind myself WHY daily tidying is worth it!).  Let’s start with the kitchen, shall we? Our home is a somewhat-modern townhouse, with a pretty […]

Last weekend, we went to the pumpkin patch! Saturday afternoon, we joined Conrad’s sister Adrienne and her kiddo Max on a little trip to Bartel’s Farm, just north of town. Haley, who is currently recovering from a ruptured cyst (ewww), was there. too. Max made sure to keep a special watch over her. Once at the farm, we got right to work. Well, some of us did. Bartel’s farm has been owned by the same family for over […]

Hi guys! This is kind of random, but I was just reading this article from Cup of Jo (love, love, LOVE her), and something stood out to me that I want to remember. The article is on Emma Straub, best-selling author of The Vacationers. While the article focuses mostly on her ‘beauty uniform’, I particularly loved this little snippet from Straub when asked about how she will talk to her sons about beauty when they […]
