week 3

Hello, and welcome to (the end of) the third week of 2020.

How did yours go?

Mine was much better than last week. I felt a lot better, which was a massive improvement, and I got a lot of things on my To Do list checked off. Plus, I got to see a friends’ new puppy, which is the BEST MEDICINE of all.

This weekend was pretty unremarkable, in the best way. C worked at the bar both Friday and Saturday, so Winston and I hung out just the two of us. We snuggled on the couch and watched old Law & Order SVU episodes, which are still soooo good. I also finally organized my pantry, and made a kimchi ramen soup that was probably the best thing I’ve eaten so far in 2020 (and I spent the new year in ITALY, so you know it was good). The sun finally came out this morning, so C and I took the opportunity to walk to the dog park nearby.

Winston wiped himself out playing with all the other doggie friends, and then proceeded to spend the entire afternoon passed out (and muddy on my clean sheets!! I didn’t have the heart to wake him, he was snoring here 😍).

This week is going to be a busy one! I have meetings galore, a bunch of new projects to begin, and a long To Do list to get through. But I am feeling good. I feel ready to tackle the new week, and the incremental increase in daylight is motivating me to keep moving. This week my goals are to break a sweat at least 3 times, update my monthly budget, and book my flights to Mallorca for my sister’s master’s graduation in July. What do you hope to accomplish this week?
